The board has put together a committee of members to draft a collective leadership proposal for the church. This committee would like to host an open forum meeting where Element owners can come to bring ideas, questions, and feedback. No voting will take place at this meeting - only ideas. :)
Following the gathering on September 14th, we will have an owners' meeting to cover what is happening now in the life of our church, as well as share more specifics on what we are praying about for the future. We will also have a time for comments and questions. Please make plans to attend this important meeting. Childcare will be provided for kids under 3, and we will have extra coffee and snacks available. This is a 5th Sunday, so instead of our regular gathering, we will be joining together to do a couple projects to better our community. Sunday morning we will meet in our house churches - get with your house church leader for location and time. Then thatSunday afternoon at 1:00 pm, all who are able will meet at the warehouse and divide into 2 groups - one to pass out flyers to the surrounding community about Element, and another to help the move in the new For Kids Foster Closet supplies (we will just need hands to carry items from the moving trucks into the warehouse).
